For the Crypto EA, we recommend a minimum of $1,000 USD (or equivalent) to handle drawdown periods comfortably. Smaller accounts can technically run the EA but face higher percentage risk per trade. The verified Myfxbook account uses $4,348 USD.

Risk is fully configurable. The EA uses a base lot size that you set on installation. Our verified live account averages 0.02 lots per trade on a $4K balance — approximately 0.5% account risk per trade based on its stoploss range. You should adjust based on your own risk tolerance.

Our flagship Crypto EA trades BTCUSD primarily and XAUUSD (Gold) as a secondary instrument. These are the markets where our edge is most consistent. The EA does not trade FX majors like EURUSD.

Our verified live account has hit a maximum drawdown of 28.06% over 5 months. Drawdown is the percentage decline from a recent equity peak — it's the cost of taking the trades that eventually become profitable. If 28% drawdown feels uncomfortable for you, this EA is probably not the right fit. Higher returns require accepting higher temporary equity swings.

After purchase, log into your dashboard and download the .mq5 file from your license page. Open MetaTrader 5 → File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts. Copy the .mq5 file there. In MT5, refresh the Navigator (right-click → Refresh). Drag the EA onto a BTCUSD chart. Enable "Algo Trading" in the top toolbar. Done. Full step-by-step guide is included with your download.

Strongly recommended, not required. The EA needs MT5 running 24/7 to react to market opportunities. A VPS (Virtual Private Server) keeps it running even when your computer is off. Most brokers offer free VPS hosting for accounts above a certain deposit. A basic Forex VPS costs around $15-30/month if you need to buy one separately.

Three quick checks: (1) Confirm the license key in the EA settings exactly matches what's on your dashboard. (2) In MT5, go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors and add https://fractaltradersfx.com to the "Allow WebRequest for listed URL" list. (3) Confirm your subscription is active in your dashboard. If all three are correct and it still fails, email support — we'll resolve within 24 hours.

One license = one MT5 account. The license auto-binds to your first account on activation. If you need to move to a different account (broker change, new account, etc.), submit an account change request from your dashboard — we approve genuine requests within 24 hours.

Updates are free for active subscribers. When a new version releases, your dashboard will show "Update Available" next to your license. Download the new file and replace the old one in your MT5 Experts folder.

For the Crypto EA, we recommend brokers offering true ECN/Raw Spread accounts with low BTCUSD spreads. Our own verified live account runs on Vantage Markets. Other tested options include IC Markets and Pepperstone. Different EAs may have different broker requirements — check the product page for your specific EA's recommended brokers.

Standard accounts add hidden markup to spreads, especially on volatile pairs like BTCUSD. For an algorithmic strategy that aims for small consistent profits, wider spreads on a Standard account can erase the edge entirely. ECN/Raw Spread accounts charge a transparent commission instead — usually cheaper for active trading.

Exness functions, but we've observed minor execution quirks on BTCUSD that can affect short-term trade outcomes. We don't actively recommend Exness for the Crypto EA — Vantage and IC Markets give cleaner results. If you already use Exness for other things, the EA will still run.

Most ECN accounts have minimums between $200-$500. For the Crypto EA we recommend funding with at least $1,000 to handle drawdown comfortably. Higher leverage (e.g. 1:500) helps with smaller accounts.

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if the EA fails to operate as described due to technical issues we cannot resolve. Trading losses do not qualify for refunds — past performance does not guarantee future results, and market conditions are outside our control. To request a refund, email support with your license key and a description of the technical issue.

We accept all major payment methods through Razorpay: Indian debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), UPI, NetBanking, and popular wallets. International customers will have additional options including international cards.

Plans are available in monthly, 3-month, and yearly billing cycles (with discounts for longer commitments). You pay upfront for the chosen period, the license activates immediately, and you get a one-time renewal notification 7 days before expiration. We don't auto-renew without your consent — you manually purchase the next cycle from your dashboard.

Yes. Sign up for a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. You get a full license that works on one MT5 account. After the trial, choose a paid plan to continue, or your license simply deactivates.

Since we don't auto-renew, there's nothing to "cancel" — you simply don't buy the next billing cycle when the current one ends. Your license stays active for the full period you've paid for.
